Events

February 12th – Each year CASA staff, volunteers and board members converge on the state capital in Atlanta, Georgia. We meet with our local senators and representatives to discuss child abuse and neglect issues and to ask for continued funding for CASA programs across the state.

March 17th is for the Carroll County CASA board of directors. Dr. Shirley Garrett will be the featured speaker. The location will be announced at a later date.

April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. Our annual Light of Hope Event will be held on April 22^th at 6 p.m. More information will follow.

May is Foster Parent Appreciation Month.

The Grand Night for CASA will be held the first part of October 2008. Sponsorship opportunities start at $500 for a silver sponsorship and include tickets to the event and recognition in the event program and other pre and post event publicity.
